Christiana Cole performs at Lincoln Center (May 18) & 54 Below (May 23)

Christiana Cole has already had a busy May. On May 4, she sang “Feels Like Magic” (lyrics by Jessica Fleitman, music by Rick Bassett) with Arri Lawton Simon at the cabaret “Lady and the Vamp” at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Here’s the video proof:

On May 11, Christiana sang “The Way We Like It” and “Beautiful,” both by the songwriting team Janine McGuire & Arri Lawton Simon (yes, the same guy!) at the Laurie Beechman (yes, the same theatre!) at the debut McGuire & Simon concert, “Looking Forward.” Video pending.

To finish out the month –

On May 18 at 6pm, Christiana Cole joins an incredible lineup, including Anthony Rapp, Alyse Alan Louis, and more, to sing the music of Anna K. Jacobs, at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center. Tickets are free!

On May 23, Christiana revives her role of Laurie Partridge in the Off-Broadway Shakespeare-Sitcom mashup, “The Bardy Bunch,” in a special one-night-only cabaret at 54 Below. Get tickets here!

And then, on June 1, Christiana will move to Williamsburg to live with her favorite actor and even more-favorite boyfriend, Aaron Phillips. She is so grateful for such a happy, productive month.

Christiana Cole sings the music of Anna K. Jacobs at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center on January 26, as part of the Broadway’s Future Songbook Series. Joined by esteemed colleagues Anthony Rapp, Alyse Alan Louis, Kay Trinidad and many more, and with music direction by Lynne Shankel, the evening promises to be a thrilling one. Christiana will be singing selections from TEETH (music by Jacobs, lyrics by Michael R. Jackson) and ECHO, Jacobs’ newest musical. Admission is free!

They decided to record some of their favorite songs and hymns, to preserve some of the magic that they created each week. Engineered, mixed and mastered by Jamie Cowperthwait (himself an accomplished composer and writer), DIVINE MERCY spans from 9th Century Latin Chant to Schubert to Quaker Hymns to contemporary praise and worship.

Christiana Cole in the December edition of Take A Ten Musicals: Warped

Christiana Cole plays the fierce space captain Jade in the December edition of TAKE A TEN, “Warped.” Also starring Aaron Phillips as an alien, Jackie Washam Cekovsky as a singing computer, and Chris Critelli as a furball doctor. Once a month, TAKE A TEN creates a brand new, ten-minute musical from scratch— writing it, performing it, and recording it. Christiana Cole cast in TEETH at Ars Nova

TEETH, a new musical by Anna K. Jacobs (music) and Michael Jackson (book and lyrics), is being presented in a full reading at Ars Nova. Christiana Cole reprises her role as one of the Promise Keeper Girls. (Christiana was previously in a concert version of the show, as part of Ars Nova’s UNCHARTED program.)

TEETH is about an Evangelical Christian teen who discovers that she has teeth in her vagina.

Christiana Cole in TWO Fringe Shows honored with Encores at SoHo Playhouse

Christiana Cole has the distinction of being in not one, but two 2014 NYC Fringe shows that have been extended into Encores. Of the over 200 shows in the Fringe, only 13 were selected to be part of this special “best of the fest” series, which runs at the SoHo Playhouse in September. Christiana will reprise her role as newbie mom Kate in Urban Momfare September 21 – September 28, and her role as a drunk opera singer in Smashed, on September 21. (Yes, she is doing two shows back to back on September 21st.)

Christiana Cole cast in reading of “Benjamin Button” at the York Theatre Company

Christiana Cole joins the cast of the York Theatre Company’s reading of the new musical “Benjamin Button” by BMI colleagues Natalie Tenenbaum (music) and Brett Boles (words). The cast includes Matthew Hydzik (West Side Story) as Past Benjamin, Christina DeCicco (Evita, Spider-Man Turn off the Dark, The Marvelous Wonderettes) as Claire, Talon Ackerman (Bonnie and Clyde) as Contemporary Benjamin and Cole Burden as James. Stephen Namachie directs.

Performances will be held Aug. 25 at 7 PM and Aug. 26 at 2 PM at the York Theatre Company. The York Theatre Company is located at 619 Lexington Avenue at the corner of 54th Street. Christiana Cole cast in The Music Man with the Transport Group

Christiana Cole hops on the Wells Fargo Wagon in the Transport Group’s concert version of The Music Man, at 8pm on August 11, 2014 at the Pershing Square Signature Theatre (480 West 42nd street). Helmed by artistic director Jack Cummings III and hosted by Joe Iconis, the cast includes Laura Osnes, Santino Fontana, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Ann Harada, Jill Paice, Mary Testa, and more.
