Christiana Cole receives commission for new children’s musical from Interlakes Theatre

Christiana Cole has been commissioned by Interlakes Theatre to the write the lyrics for a new musical adaptation of Sparkle Spa: Bling it On!

Sparkle Spa is a middle grades series published by Simon & Schuster. Sparkle Spa author Jill Santopolo joins the team as bookwriter, along with composer Brad Ross (Little by Little, The Times).

Sparkle Spa: Bling it On! tells the story of Aly Tanner, a 5th grade girl who runs her own nail salon with her little sister Brooke, and her attempt to run the very best booth at her elementary school carnival.

The full production will run at Interlakes Theatre in Meredith, New Hampshire in July 2016.
